Melissa Frances Bras

In October Melissa Frances ran a scrap a bra competition for breast cancer awareness. Then when I was flicking through Scrapbooking Memories magazine, I saw that they were also running a scrap a bra comp. So I set off in search of 2 pink bras. This was an interesting excerise, to find a bra the right colour, not to small and a good texture to work on. I went to lots and lots of shops before I finally found these two. I was so excited that I raced home and started scrapping.

Cuppycake

This is a page about Lucy and how she got her nick name Cuppycake. For the top of the cupcake I used foamcore and smoothed on texture paste with a knife to give it that icing look. Then I mixed up the pink paint and painted it. When that was dry I painted gel medium about 2mm thick and sprinkled tiny beads over the top. Finding all of the right colour beads was a challenge but I got there in the end. I had an empty spice jar and kept adding coloured beads until it looked like 100s and 1000s.

Spice Jar Keepsake

What is little Molly made of ? I used K&Company Berry Sweet range to make this keepsake for Molly. I love working beyond the page and I especially love working on mini items.
